HOW ONE CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE READINGS

Unleash your inner director.
Organize a bunch of your friends to come at the same time to do a particular reading. You can pre-cast. You can even rehearse ahead of time (though that's not necessary). If you let us know 48 hours in advance which play your group will be reading, we'll set aside a nook or corner for you (we'll let you know where when you arrive that day).

Are you a ham at heart?
Show up (on time) for any of the three reading slots and we'll "cast" you as part of an impromptu reading group. That is, show up 15 minutes before the start time of the play you want to perform in. (For instance, if you want to be in a reading group for What is to be Dead, show up at noon; if you want to be a reader in Left of the Moon, show up at 1:45...). No preparation necessary, just be on time and bring your reading glasses!

Feeling bashful?
Be our audience. You don't have to read; the readings will be taking place all over the All Stars performing arts center. And the stages will be set up so that you can watch any one of them... or wander from one to another!

Email or call our box office at 212-941-1234 and let us know which reading/s you plan to participate in! boxoffice@allstars.org

DINNER

From 5:30-7:00 you can have a picnic while you read a play with friends, or just enjoy the yummy treats you bring with you. We are also having a potluck all afternoon, so bring extra for others to appreciate!
